Job Description - Assistant Professor-Commerce
Required Qualification and Skills
- Plan, organize, and deliver instruction in classroom and laboratory settings for Undergraduate and Postgraduate students.
- Conducting high quality research and publishing papers in reputed journals to build intellectual capital of the University.
- Mentor students to ensure their all-round personal and professional development.
- Document student progress and maintain accurate records such as attendance, grading and achievement of student learning outcomes.
- Supervise doctoral research scholars of the department.
- Develop a course outline or syllabus for the course(s) they teach and ensure that it meets University and department standards.
- Representing the university at conferences and delivering presentations when necessary.
- Serve on academic and administrative committees that review and recommend policies, make budget decisions, or advise on hiring and promotions within their department.
Note: Preference will be given to those with UGC NET/ SET. Minimum experience required is 3 years.
