Conducting lectures, laboratory experiments, and other training sessions to educate the students about nursing procedures, ethics and activities performed in a health care facility.
Delegating projects to students in the class. He may assign individual topics to each student or to a group of students, as the case may be.
Evaluating the exam papers, projects and other activities of the students. He compiles the overall results and helps the department in preparation of final transcript.
Administrative Responsibilities
Helping the management in planning and accomplishing the objectives for the organization.
Supporting the senior staff in the ongoing or new research projects.
Helping in the research for new modules to be added in the existing programs and in development of new programs.
Assistanting professor of nursing helps the institute’s placement cell by providing the number of students who qualify for placement and their grades to the placement staff.
Participating in the various community programs and helps in the organization and execution of various events such as seminars and conventions.
