Roles and Responsibility

Must be able to commute daily to Koramangala area of Bangalore
6+ years of experience in building and supporting web applications
4+ years of experience in Ruby/Rails 4 and 5
Strong computer science problem-solving ability for creating, testing, and optimizing scalable algorithms
A deep knowledge of Ruby’s idioms, mechanisms, and its execution and how best to leverage them to build extensible web applications
Experience in designing and implementing service-oriented JSON RESTAPIs
Experience in Unit Testing or Test Driven Development
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - strong English (both written and spoken) is required to communicate within the team effectively
Experience with implementing web application security best practices
Ability to work independently as well as in a multi-team agile environment
Strong track record of adopting test practices using TDD, Rspec, Capybara and continuous integration
